Statement by Public Advocate de Blasio on Governor Cuomo's Executive Budget

Governor Cuomo has put forward an Executive Budget that delivers for New York City’s future and economy. The Governor’s budget makes investments that will create thousands of middle class jobs, especially in the outer boroughs where they are so desperately needed. I commend the Governor for closing the $3.5 billion deficit and continuing the streamlining of State government to protect taxpayer dollars. I look forward to continuing to work together with the Governor this year to make government work for the people
